Clamping and Tensioning Plates

Tensioning Plates

Also known as tensioning rails or tensioning bars, our clamping plates are engineered to apply even pressure along the entire edge of the woven wire screen. Proper clamping ensures the screen sits tightly against the camber bars.

Available in standard 2-bend and 3-bend profiles to perfectly match your specific hook type and side plate design.

PU-Coated Options:

For highly abrasive or wet applications, we supply clamping plates coated in premium polyurethane. This provides exceptional wear resistance and protects the steel core from rapid corrosion.

PU-Coated

Coating also adds a cushioning effect, which helps prevent damage or binding to delicate workpieces during clamping.

Non-marking and noise-dampening further enhance safety and efficiency in the workplace.

High-Tensile Clamp and Tension Bolts

Manufactured from Grade 8.8 High Tensile steel. Specified to ensure they do not stretch or strip under heavy torque and constant deck vibration.

Available in 10 up to M20 sizes

Supplied in lengths of 140, 160, 200 and 220.

Complete Bolt Assembly Hammerhead options are also available.

All parts, including Dome Washers to go with clamping bolts, are also sold separately for your convenience.

Hook Bolts for Wear Management

While Hook Bolts are not required when screens are correctly tensioned, they serve a vital purpose in ongoing maintenance. As screens wear over time, Hook Bolts can be introduced to prevent screen “flapping” and to maintain overall deck stability.

Designed with one threaded end to accommodate a nut and washer, while the hooked end engages directly with the screen frame or support structure.

By tightening the nut, the bolt applies consistent tension to the deck

This action pulls the screen taut, ensuring proper alignment for reliable performance and an extended service life.
